Why Al-Khawarizmi
Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, the ninth-century scholar of Baghdad’s House of Wisdom, gave the world algebra and the word “algorithm”: a problem solved as a clear sequence of steps. We teach the same way: one method at a time, practised until it is yours.
